We Will Stand? Apostasy Drops it’s Fruit.

The Voice of the Martyrs, along with Lifeway Christian Resources, and Compassion The Devils MusicInternational, will unite with 30 most popular Christian music artists and Roma Downey, in a CCM United event, “We Will Stand.” It does not seem to matter that Downey is a minion of the very Satan that is persecuting the church. VOM and the others are giving her enormous credibility, which she will use to lure more professing Christians into deception and apostasy. What an endorsement for the New Age paganism that is presently invading and overwhelming churches and entire denominations. Additionally, some of the artists are apostates. The motto of the event is ・One Message, Many Voices.・ Really? There are more messages being represented. If the estimated goal, a global reach of over 40 million viewers, is realized, then the apostasy is well past full bloom. It’s poisonous fruit is falling.

VOM has a history of supporting diabolical artists. Years ago, VOM supported DC Talk, a contemporary Christian music group responsible for contaminating innumerable youth with satanically inspired music. DC Talk used the producer of Nine Inch Nails to produce one of their videos. They said that after watching a Nine Inch Nails video they were impressed by his talent. Nine Inch Nails was a satanic antichrist group that had on their album cover a monkey crucified on a cross. Ignoring those facts, VOM endorsed DC Talk to a generation of youth thereby helping to clothe their image with martyrdom that they never experienced. Dc Talk’s book, “Jesus Freaks” (a repulsive title) was a blatant use of the blood of the Martyrs to further “sanitize” their bad fruit. It worked.

At this unprecedented time in history, with a massive and intense deception ongoing, and a great apostasy, “We Will Stand” is indicative of the near total lack of discernment and evidence of willful ignorance of readily available information. It is another consequence of weak and pusillanimous professing Christians who not only have failed to rise up against the blasphemous invasions of the darkness, but now fully embraced perpetrators of that invasion. What a tragedy!

In my book, “Music of the Great Apostasy,” a free e-book that I made available on my website, I warned about the ramifications of the paradigm shift in Christian music. I was attacked by various Christian artists and accused of being an old guy with a bias against young people. Most of my detractors ignored my points and based their position on the tired old adage, “God can use anything.” Some of them went so far as to declare all musical compositions neutral, thus capable of being used by God and Satan with only a change of words. In a debate with a popular Christian recording artist, I pointed out that the symbolism and music style he used was copied straight from individuals that were demon possessed or greatly influenced by Satan. He replied that he was doing the work of God, souls were being saved, and that I had no authority to challenge him. His premise was that it was completely consistent with his Christian values to take the imagery and music concocted by Satan and Christianize it.

After much research, I could trace the philosophy behind the egregious paradigm shift to a statement made by Larry Norman, who was arguably the first Christian rocker. He based the entire defense of using satanically inspired music for Christian songs on a question, “Why should the devil have all the good music?” One could almost hear a resounding “yeah” reverberating across the masses of Christian youth. Since I didn’t read or hear where anyone else had responded, I felt compelled to answer him. My reply was/is, “He doesn’t.” In fact Satan never had any good music. I asked question that never received a response. “Is the God of all creation now so bereft of creative ability that He sends His children to Satan for musical inspiration?” Remember that the Holy Spirit leads the true Christian into all truth. If one says that they are inspired by secular music obviously emanating from a satanic source, that is blasphemy.

Well, that was about 15 years ago. When I redesigned my website, I did not upload that and another book on eschatology. I was involved in other issues that I felt were more important, and otherwise procrastinated. I wish I had uploaded it. I intend, over the next several weeks, to update and then upload it. One of the predictions in the book had to do with the ramifications awaiting Christians at the end of the logical path. Those ramifications have now arrived and are increasing. The effect of co-opting satanically inspired musical styles and adapting them to Christian prose has been devastating.

Consider that two of the sectors of Christianity most polluted by heresy and bizarre practices is youth church and youthful churches. The erroneous pragmatic philosophy of “being like the world to win the world” came out of the Christian youth culture. This has led to churches not only resembling secular music concerts when they meet, but their doctrines deviate from the biblical course, wandering into New Age, Emergent, Seeker-Friendly, patterns and even worse. Consider Perry Noble’s mega church in Gaffney, South Carolina. Noble has played AC/DC music, and recently played a Miley Cyrus video in the sanctuary. He frequently uses vulgarity, attacks and condemns biblical Christianity.

Music has been the primary force that inspired and initiated an alternative Christianity, a version that fits only the youth culture. Music is what draws them, what prepares them for whatever heresy or deviate practice that comes afterward. It is the primary factor that has separated entire generations from traditional biblical roots and heritage. Consider that some of those influential artists are now apostate. The co-founder of Newsboys has recently announced that he became an atheist. The music of those unqualified and unaccountable “Christian” role models has unleashed covert heresy in youth churches. It caused an unbridled exodus from the biblical path to blaze a new trail directly into enemy territory. The youth that take that trail collect numerous satanic influences along the way that shapes not only their view of the church meeting, but of God, of Christ, the Holy Spirit, salvation, and godliness (the Christian lifestyle).

Thus, it is consistent that the Who’s Who in Christian music, along with Christians organizations, would unite with New Age mystic Roma Downey in a music concert. When I posted on a page advertising the event, it did not surprise me that the youth who challenged me focused on the music (which is the cause) instead of Downey. It is tragic to witness Christians now so low on discernment that they would make such a mistake. All those artists, worship leaders, and organizations that Christians have supported for years, coming into unity with a diabolical individual is deeply troubling. And many of the professing Christians that will view or attend do not know or care. In fact, they will attack someone who tells them the truth as if he or she is demonic. Do they even care that they are grieving the Holy Spirit?

What’s next? Will they stand together with Muslims? With Oprah Winfrey? The “Reverend” Al Sharpton? Would the thought of standing together with Ellen Deneneres make them blush? Is there anyone they would refuse to unite with in such a fashion? Is the standard now, “as long as they are famous?” If God could weep….

VOM went downhill a LONNNNG time ago (might have something to do with it no longer being run by Wurmbrand Sr., who was pretty solid).

As for Satan “having all the good music,” I have to mention a short incident (this took place in a VERY strict and conservative Reformed church). The pastor said (obviously in response to some teens in the congregation complaining about the “boring” music [this church uses only an old Psalter, and the piano as accompaniment]), “We don’t come to church to hear good music; you can listen to [mentions a couple of modern SECULAR {!!!!} bands] at home. The songs in the Psalter are designed to glorify God.”

Now, think about what’s really being said here: (1) modern secular music is “good” in contrast to the music used for worship [at that particular church]; (2) the music used for worship doesn’t have to be beautiful. Both of those statements are WRONG. **ESPECIALLY** the music we use to worship the One whose Beauty surpasses all understanding, especially THAT should be beautiful.

PS: Music is to the spirit what alcohol is to the body: both do not get “digested” before they affect us. Booze goes directly into the bloodstream w/o being processed by the stomach, and music directly to the soul w/o being processed by our rational faculties. Therefore, particularly in a worship service, the music should be full of protein and beauty, so that the soul is properly nourished.
