This reminds me of figures like John Bunyan, Charles Spurgeon, John and Charles Wesley, and others. If we are going to listen to any man of the past, let’s listen to these great preachers. They all spoke the Word of God even though they were rejected, and it was more often the poor that listened than did those that were rich in this world.
