They Have no Spiritual Birthday

This is the first in a series of articles I will be presenting over the next few weeks concerning the great and final apostasy. In my opinion, there are major indicators that we are in the last days before the Coming of Christ. The apostasy that has led to the formation of the Emergent Church is one of those indicators. One of its primary goals is the establishment of a global religion. The doctrines and practices of the Emergent Church have moved into mainstream Christianity. The result is an unprecedented paradigm shift toward acceptance of occult practices and beliefs. Many very influential Christian leaders are promoting the Emergent Church. If this heresy succeeds, within a few years true Christianity will be driven out of public view. It will be replaced by an ecumenical global religion that will be very hostile to the remaining visages of godliness and godly people.

I became aware of the causes and effects of the great apostasy several decades ago. I witnessed the infiltration of the so-called Word of Faith movement, the Charismatic movement, the Seeker-friendly movement, and now the Emergent Church. A common thread in all these movements is a cavalier attitude toward God, Christ, and the Bible. Their attitude toward holy things borders on blasphemy and often crosses that border. Ironically, they market this disrespect for God and His righteousness as spiritual favor and anointing. There appears to be a competitive spirit predominant in all of those false teachers to come up with some new thing. I caution people to beware of every new thing. God’s word does not declare that deception will come by missing out on something new. Instead, deception will come by abandoning the truth. It would be quite impossible for these modern false teachers to have truth since that would mean every Christian since the resurrection of Christ must have been deceived. Instead, they have a collection of lies that compose the final deception.

I believe that the Emergent Church is engineering the destruction of true Christianity. Several weeks after I started this project, I discovered several books about the Emergent Church and its New Age connections. I was very concerned when I discovered the Rupert Murdoch (Fox News), Peter Drucker, Zondervan Publishing, Robert Schullar, and Rick Warren connection with the Emergent Church. It was very unsettling to discover how deep the Emergent Church doctrines have cut into Christianity. More shocking was that all of this evil could occur and many Christian leaders either did not know about it, were simply not concerned enough to say anything, or they have become part of the problem. There could be another reason they remained silent. They may simply lack the courage to speak.

I recommend the following books to anyone wanting to know the truth about the darkness that has lured many professing Christians deep into the great and final apostasy.

“For Many Shall Come in My Name” – Ray Yungen; “A Time of Departing” – Ray Yungen; “ A Wonderful Deception” – Warren B. Smith; and “Faith Undone” – Roger Oakland.

The following article only exposes the tip of a gigantic beast rising out of the sea. It is a very real danger to all true Christians. The Emergent Church is not just another way of presenting Christianity that is acceptable to God. It is an invasion of evil that should not be taken lightly.
– C. H. Fisher –

They saunter into the building, line up at the tiki bar, and walk away with a cup of hot java and a pastry. The driving beat of high energy music blasts into the foyer each time the door to the main sanctuary opens. The crowd mills about chirping greetings to every familiar face. It could be an attempt by a church to put attendees at ease and make them feel welcome. However, the leadership may have unwittingly sponsored the wrong atmosphere to prepare people for an encounter with God and His truth. In most venues where this atmosphere is present, it implies the concept of a casual God who may be approached casually. The people are being prepared for an exciting meeting filled with positive vibes, great music, video imagery, and concluded with a short teaching or message. The teaching could be about contemplative prayer, centering, or some other occult or New Age practice. The result is a generation of professing Christians who believe that God conforms to their culture, desires, and will, not the other way around.

They are called “seekers”. Some of them will remain “seekers” for a long time, moving from church to church. Other ones may eventually settle into a local congregation. However, they may never accept the title “believer” or “Christian”. Some of them are focused on their smart phones and tablets throughout the meetings. They will learn precious little about true Christianity, being born again, and the Atonement purchased with the shed blood of Christ. Most of them have never actually heard the Gospel, much less anointed preaching. Thus, they do not really know who Christ Jesus really is or about the kingdom that He came to establish. They do not like conviction and will not come back if they experience it. Whether they know it or not, they are members of the Emergent Church and are being gradually led into irreversible deception. The vehicles of their arrival are the “seeker friendly” churches, the” launch” churches, or an old line church taken over by a young hireling fresh from a foray to the pools of Emergent deception. They are the modern Christians and they have no spiritual birthday.

Because of the Emergent Church, an entire generation of professing Christians is discovering a god they can live with minimal lifestyle changes, one who is not demanding, who never insists that they fully commit to him, and in fact is less like God than He is a servant. They believe that he frets over their every inconvenience, has dreams for them, and caters to their every whim. They have no spiritual birthday because they have not had a salvation experience. There was no time during a church meeting or otherwise when they realized that they were sinners in need of a Savior. Never have they recognized and experienced the Holy Spirit’s conviction by God’s word. No altar was stained with their tears. Ask them when they came to know Christ as their Savior and Lord, and they will reply, “You mean when I became a believer? Oh, it just kind of happened. I just kept getting closer and closer and then one day I realized I believed in Him.” The fact is they don’t really believe in Christ, but in an unbiblical concept of Him. It is a concept formulated by hirelings that agrees with other religions and even the occult. Their Jesus is not the Christ who was executed by Roman soldiers, whom God raised from the dead, and who is coming again for a pure and faithful church. They believe in the Emergent Church’s cosmic Christ.

The clear truth is that Christianity is under a vicious attack that few professing Christians know about and fewer even care to know. It is not just the increasing hostility from the secular realm, but from the religious sector. The seeds of the deception were already sown before Bill Hybels launched his “seeker-friendly” church growth approach. Although Hybels and his staff reportedly repented of their experiment, the damage has been done and there is no undoing it.

After Hybels, came Rob Bell. Rob Bell, is the “Gollum” that crept into Christianity with the mission to steal its soul, dismantle, and replace it with New Age ecumenicalism. Bell is listed as number 10 among the 50 Most Influential Christians in America. Bell wrote the book, Sex God: Exploring the Endless Connections between Sexuality and Spirituality. He went on a sold-out “Sex God” tour on several university campuses. One has to wonder if his book influenced Judah Smith, another highly popular pastor who preached that “Jesus is bringing sexy back.” Bell said, ““I am for marriage. I am for fidelity. I am for love, whether it’s a man and a woman, a woman and a woman, a man and a man.” He believes in the death of Evangelical Christianity and, along with Brian McLaren, intends to insure that said death occurs.

Brian McLaren, who declared that the message of the cross is “false advertising for God” wrote,
“If we think that there may actually be a legitimate context for some homosexual relationships, we know that the biblical arguments are nuanced and multilayered, and the pastoral ramifications are staggeringly complex. We aren’t sure if or where lines are to be drawn, nor do we know how to enforce with fairness whatever lines are drawn.”

He also wrote the following, which about sums up the ecumenical intent of the Emergent Church.
“I don’t believe making disciples must equal making adherents to the Christian religion. It may be advisable in many (not all!) circumstances to help people become followers of Jesus and remain within their Buddhist, Hindu or Jewish contexts … rather than resolving the paradox via pronouncements on the eternal destiny of people more convinced by or loyal to other religions than ours, we simply move on … To help Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, and everyone else experience life to the full in the way of Jesus (while learning it better myself), I would gladly become one of them (whoever they are), to whatever degree I can, to embrace them, to join them, to enter into their world without judgment but with saving love as mine has been entered by the Lord.”

Hybels, McLaren and Bell, along with other highly visible leaders such as Rick Warren, have been spreading deception and heresy to an entire generation of young people. They are training a league of hirelings to form a social Christianity that blends easily with satanic religions; a Christianity that embraces the occult, homosexuality, and vehemently severs any thread of divine continuum to the Early Church. Both men are incredibly ignorant of God and His ways, but they appear to know the way of religious darkness and of the world system. Everything they can tear from the Bible to blend with those two elements of bondage, they will so do.

The deception was clever. When I realized how it was designed and implemented, I was amazed. First, there have been many historical exoduses from established churches. The Reformation was the result of a corrupt church that had veered well off the path of truth and righteousness. God’s word is clear that there was to be a great and final apostasy in the last days. Satan realized that this would be an opportunity to lure millions of individuals into deception. He had his emissaries in perfect position. They pointed to the liturgical churches as examples of failed Christianity, and branded Evangelicalism as heresy. Throwing out “baby with bath water”, they made the case for a new Christianity. Incorporating portions from false religions and even the occult with bad translations of the Bible, they engineered another “gospel”. Thus, casual encounter with a casual god was born again. Bell, McLaren, and their fellows, declare that a new and fresh spiritual awakening, a new reformation, is going to replace what they view as old, decrepit, and heretical Christianity. However, every credible spiritual awakening that God has initiated was a bringing back to life that which was dead. That is the definition of revival. What Hybels, Bell and McLaren are attempting is not to bring passion and desire for truth and God back to life. What they wish to bring forth is the reemergence of satanic dominion. These men are, in my opinion, diabolically appointed to assist in bringing the final deception to critical mass, which will be the great and final apostasy. The false prophet who stands beside the Beast of Revelation will meet no resistance from individuals who have imbibed the poisonous mixture of these and other modern heretics.

I must therefore give praise and express my deepest gratitude to God that I am saved. I am overwhelmed with gratefulness that I came into the kingdom of God before this deception had fully formed. When I experienced the saving grace of God, it was an unforgettable, immediate, life-changing and lasting event. I was blessed to sit under the ministries of great men and women of God. The fire of the Holy Spirit fell into my soul and God changed an alcoholic, drug addict, completely and instantly into one of His children. There was no wandering into His presence, no casual encounter with a casual God. I, trembling, came into the presence of a holy God who is a consuming fire. I have a spiritual birthday, February 10, 1978.

Nearly all of those godly individuals that were my examples are gone now. It has fallen on me and other ones the duty to hold up the truth, to defend the Gospel, and to expose the hidden agendas of darkness. Until the day that I also depart into eternity, I do not intend to cease declaring the undiluted truth of God. I will tell you bluntly and without wavering that the “gospel” of the Emergent Church is the doctrines of demons. It is part of the second stage in the three-stage migration to reprobation. First, the great deception, then the great apostasy, and finally the great delusion. It is not too late to avoid the fatal snare of the great delusion. Every soul who is convicted by this message ought to pray, read the bible, and sincerely seek wisdom from God. Things are happening very fast. No one knows how much time is left before Christ comes and door is closed for good.

Why Can’t They See?

Why Can’t They See?
Someone recently asked me a question that I have heard often concerning the signs of apostasy and the approaching Antichrist kingdom. She asked, “Why is it that I can see these things, but other Christians don’t seem to see them?” Christ provided an answer in Matthew’s gospel.
“And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive; for the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’” Matthew 13:14-15 (NKJV)

The Greek text implies that the heart is spiritually obese, presumably from ingesting the fruit of the world system. The heart is the core of the soul. As the heart goes, so go the ear and eyes. Hearts that have lost the desire for God’s truth govern ears and eyes that do not desire to hear or read the same. God’s word calls people with such hearts “sleepers”.

The desire to “see” and “hear” is predicated on the heart’s sense of what is important and what is ignorable information. True Christians are guided by the Holy Spirit that inspires their hearts to feed on God’s truth. The fact is, they “see” and “hear” because they desire to “see” and “hear”. Mere “professing” Christians often do not have this deep desire. It is more important to them to gather mundane information by the brain load. Most of it is information they can do without, or that does absolutely nothing to enhance life, or make them more productive for God. A great deal of it flows from the internet and television. It embeds in their minds an ungodly philosophical world view. They certainly do not crave information about the last days. In fact, they either ignore or avoid altogether any references to the topic. Attempting to impart necessary information to them about the last days spoils the warm and fuzzy glow of glow of false security. They have decided to whistle past the graveyard, to “sleep” through the last days and hope they will be exempt from the mayhem.

I would hazard to guess that, based on my experience with and knowledge of, “professing” Christians, that probably ninety percent in our nation never study God’s word. Instead, they will accept verbatim heretical information from religious television, books (including fiction), and even songs. This means that they are dependent on someone else for nearly all the information they need to navigate life, be productive for God, to mature in faith, and to attain everlasting life. I should point out that they will go to great lengths to get information they want. But the information that they need has to practically be forced upon them. Even then, they refuse it.

No wonder we have so many divisions of Christianity. Imagine handing compasses to a large number of people and sending them on a long and dangerous journey. Instead of using their compasses, ninety percent of them ask various individuals how to reach the destination. As a result, some want to go one way, and others want to go a different way. Eventually, the group is splintered into many factions, each insisting that their directions are correct. Of course, only the ones who use their compasses are likely to arrive safe and sound at the right place. Likewise, why become a follower of an individual if you have the Holy Spirit and a Bible? However, the spiritual state of their souls is the same factor that prevents them from hearing or accepting the truth that could awaken them to error. I could ask, “Do you know that you are deceived?” But they might reply, “How can I if I’m deceived?”

The fact is that if one does not feed on God’s word, he or she is totally qualified for deception infection, and most are already carriers. Of course, it is something that “sleepers” do not wish to be informed about. Their “wake me when it’s over” response to God’s prophetic revelation has morphed professing Christianity into a concoction of new age doctrine and psychobabble, meshed with a wide range of heresies and unbiblical practices. This new “Christianity” has been cleverly woven into a large number of churches in America. Further, the unbiblical mixture seems to be snowballing as it goes along, picking up more unbiblical ideas, concepts, and practices from the cult and even occult. The influence is to the extent that the generation coming into leadership does not recognize true Christianity. It is as heresy to them. Most pastors are accepting it because it increases attendance of the Sunday morning meeting. The vast number of hirelings that have taken over pastorates are even promoting it as God’s “new way of doing church”. As a result, there are few churches where truth is preached and few people that even care. In my opinion, the great majority of people converting to Christianity are ascribing to false Christianity. If they could be convinced of true Christianity, those churches would either empty or altars would be filled with repentant sinners.

In conclusion, Christians that “see” and “hear” recognize the deception and apostasy flowing in and spreading out like a great and evil tsunami. If you can still “see” and “hear”, be thankful that your heart has not grown calloused and dull. Rejoice in the fact that God can still warn you. Do not be discouraged when you realize that you are outside the mainstream of this rancid, last days, pseudo-Christianity. Take courage in His word that declares, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” One day when the darkness finally engulfs everything, the Antichrist kingdom is fully set in place, and the horrific events prophesied in God’s word begin to occur, you will be glad that you stood tall and faced the storm. On that day, you will be a “tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He might be glorified.”

And the Sheep Stroll Quietly to Destruction

And the sheep stroll quietly to destruction

In the past decade life in our nation has become markedly different. Evil and wicked people with their plots and subterfuge have always existed. However, it seems that now they have gained the advantage. One can literally witness the confluence of the two power sectors in society, religion and government. At some point they will merge completely. Revelation clearly predicts this event as the ascendance of the Antichrist and False Prophet to world dominance. It is too fantastical for most professing Christians to believe is actually occurring in their lifetime. The truth is that no past generation would have accepted the possibility of it coming upon them. Are we truly that generation upon whom the last days have fallen? If the end time prophesies are not coming upon our generation, then upon whom will they come and when will they be fulfilled? If those questions are answered, the same scriptures that answer them also point to the extreme likelihood that we are the generation upon whom it is coming.

If anyone believes that we are not that generation upon whom the end of the age has come, I encourage him or her to study God’s word and to consider the state of current affairs. In my opinion, major changes in our society point to the strong probability that we are that generation. Two key sectors of the temporal realm, politics and religion, are steadily moving to a point of confluence. Concurrently, the intolerance of society toward true Christianity is stretching to the breaking point. People can chalk it all up to business as usual, shrug their shoulders, and continue as if it was no big thing. However, the ramifications are brutal.

The political realm has been infiltrated by individuals that are intent of destroying America and rebuilding it as a third-world nation. Consider the following statement.

“The idea was not to create a perfect state operating by the clockwork principles of Marxist law but to promote a chaos that would cripple America and ultimately cast it into receivership that would be administered by the morally superior third world.” (John Jacobs)

Jacobs was one of the leaders of the anarchist movement that racked our nation with riots on college campuses and streets of major cities during the 1960s and early 1970s. As Judge Robert Bork pointed out in his book, Slouching Towards Gomorrah, the anarchists ceased rioting, went back into the Universities and obtained their degrees. They then set out to infiltrate and control positions of major influence in America. The protégés of those individuals are the ones who are now in charge of the news media, higher education, the Democratic Party, and our federal government.

Christianity has also been infiltrated by people who are intent on destroying it and converting it to a pagan religion. Consider this statement.
“My goal is to destroy Christianity as a world religion and be a recatalyst for the movement of Jesus Christ”. (Erwin McManus, author of The Barbarian Way).
McManus is one of a number of individual that are aggressively involved in altering Christianity with pagan beliefs and practices. It is apparent that the same spirits of darkness operating in politics are involved in religious shenanigans. If the current pollution of anarchists and antichrists persists, within a short period Democracy and Christianity will cease to exist.

There is an abundance of information verifying these trends, but the majority of people appear unwilling to read or listen to the facts. They are content to go on with their lives as if everything is okay. Occasionally, they will offer a weak protest against the government over a misdeed. They may express mild outrage against an individual who commits a violent crime. But when it comes to expressing alarm at the fact that our world is racing toward the apocalypse, they are silent. Their primary interests are sports, entertainment, food, money, clothing, and fun. They are concerned over minor issues, focused on a future made bright by their hopes and wishes, but not by reality. It is like people having a hurricane party with a Cat 5 storm approaching. They are drunk on the comforts of life, the deceitfulness of prosperity and pleasure, and do not wish to be informed. In fact, the watchman who rattles the chains of their secure world is deemed a distraction that they wish would shut up and go away.

For several years I have wondered what it would take for professing Christians to wake up to the encroaching evil. I have come to the conclusion that many of them would refuse to answer the question. Other ones are so ill informed that they would respond with a requirement of data that already exist and events that have already occurred or are about to occur. The fact is that the bridge of continuance has been destroyed, but they are still racing down the highway of life ignoring the warning signs and shouts of alarm. The road that they are travelling on is okay. The vehicle appears sound and functioning properly. So why be concerned? The answer is because everything can change very quickly. If all the catalysts for such a drastic change are clearly in place, it is delusional to remain passive and uninterested in current events and their consequences.

God has sent many individuals to waken every sleeper. Eventually, we will arrive at a period when that task cannot be done. Sadly, most professing Christians are already unable to hear or respond. They only want good news, positive information, and will reject anything that interferes with their comfort zone of false security. My heart breaks for them, but only they can make the decision to accept truth. I have an unction to warn those who can still hear and respond. The task at hand is to prepare while there is still time.
