It has been obvious for nearly a year that a choir director at Hillsong Church’s 7000 member New York campus is homosexual.  Recently, Josh Canfield and his homosexual lover, Reed Kelly, announced their engagement to be married.  According to Canfield, from the beginning of his employment, his church knew that he was a homosexual, had no problems with it.

”I became truthful with my church. I’m a part of Hillsong NYC. I’m one of their choir directors. I also sing on their Worship team. They’ve been amazing as well. Nothing has changed there now that I’m completely out and with Reed. He sings in the choir as well.”  (Josh Canfield, Interview with Playbill.com, January 2015)

Hillsong’s senior pastor at the main church in Australia, Brian Houston, has made statements that he does not allow homosexuals in leadership, paid or unpaid.  He also stated that he was surprised by Canfield’s announcement, and did not know there were homosexuals in leadership at the New York campus.

Huston further said, “”That said, we still love them and acknowledge that they—like all of us—are on a journey, and our role as a church is to assist them on this journey with grace and compassion.”

In other words, they are not sinful or reprobate, but simply on a journey.  The word journey undefined here is duplicitous.  Okay, what journey?  A journey to heaven?  To God?  To hell?  Or is Houston calling the Christian life “this journey,” effectively saying that these individuals are still Christians?

It is deceptive (and I believe that it is manipulation and witchcraft) to couch error in ambiguous terms so that it avoids disagreement with God’s word.  Yes, love them, but also acknowledge that they are in open sin and rebellion against God.  Otherwise, it is not love, it is not compassion, and they are cheated out of true grace that comes by repentance.  They are indeed on a journey, but it is not the same journey a Christian is on.  The two homosexuals in the Hillsong New York church are on a journey to eternal hell.  If Houston believes that it is the same journey, then he does not understand true Christianity.

Most, if not most all homosexuals working in Christianity are reprobates and cannot feel guilt or conviction.  They either believe that God has given them a special exemption, or that He no longer regards their behavior as wickedness.  According to Jude, homosexuals in the assembly that are flaunting their rebellion are not to be tolerated.

“These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.” Jude 1:12-13

A “spot” under the Mosaic Law (Leviticus 13) was a sign of uncleanness or sin leprosy. Make no mistake here:  although any sin can send a soul to eternal darkness, homosexuality is an especially defiling sin. Like leprosy, it can infect the whole body.

Some of them are very difficult to detect by natural discernment.  One cannot detect guilt in them that is normally resident in someone who is in rebellion against God.  They can only be detected by listening to the Holy Spirit.  Once their spiritual condition is known, they must be confronted.

To allow reprobate homosexuals to operate in the church meeting is indicates that God has departed from that group, having long ago departed from the leadership. Any professing Christian who does not feel convicted about committing homosexuality, or condoning it, is in danger of becoming reprobate.

Canfield and Kelly had the biblical prophecy of end times sodomy, and many warnings from godly people. They choose to ignore it all and flaunt their wickedness in the face of God. We knew it would happen–they don’t care that it happened. The consequences will be severe, according to God’s word.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” – Romans 1:28-32

Everyone is talking and writing about the SCOTUS ruling.  However, the greater danger few people are talking and writing about, and that has been obscured by the SCOTUS ruling, is the Oregon persecution against the bakers, Aaron and Melissa Klein.  The Kleins were not charged and prosecuted in a traditional court of law.  There was no due process, no jury of their peers, and their Constitutional rights were violated, including the First Amendment regarding freedom of religion.  It amounts to Christian persecution not unlike what is occurring in some foreign nations.

The Labor Commissioner, Brad Avakian, convened a court, acted as judge, jury, and executioner.  Additionally, it is reported that Avakian has a gay son and is a LGBT supporter.  He should have recused himself on those points.  It is doubtful that he would have won a case against the Kleins in a genuine court of law.

Every citizen has the right to due process of law.  Avakian’s court ignored that right. The Fifth Amendment says that no one shall be “deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law.”  The same words are used in the Fourteenth Amendment to describe the obligation of all the states.  That means that Avakian should have taken his case to a proper court where the proper procedures, including the rules of the justice and evidence, were followed.  Instead, he chose to violate the Kleins’ Constitutional rights, and is attempting to force them to pay the settlement immediately, even though he most certainly knows that his actions will be overturned by the first genuine court that it is presented in.  The Kleins will never get their money back.

Nevertheless, Avakian awarded $135,000 to the gay couple allegedly damaged by the Klein’s refusal to make them a gay oriented wedding cake.  The list of symptoms of the gay couple’s damage include, “acute loss of confidence,” “doubt,” “excessive sleep,” “felt mentally raped, dirty and shameful,” “high blood pressure,” “impaired digestion,” “loss of appetite,” “migraine headaches,” “pale and sick at home after work,” “resumption of smoking habit,” “shock,” “stunned,” “surprise,” “uncertainty,” “weight gain” and “worry.”  There were no expert witnesses allowed to sustain or refute those damages.

Avakian’s stated goal is to “rehabilitate Christians” to accept homosexuality and homosexual marriage.

“The goal is never to shut down a business. The goal is to rehabilitate,” Avakian said. “For those who do violate the law, we want them to learn from that experience and have a good, successful business in Oregon.”

That sounds like the double-speak that Communists use to mask their persecution of citizens who refuse to comply with their agenda.  Hopefully he will learn when the court overturns his injustice.

Not satisfied with his imperialistic justice, Avakian issued a gag order after the judgment, which is highly irregular and a violation of the First Amendment.

“The Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries hereby orders [Aaron and Melissa Klein] to cease and desist from publishing, circulating, issuing or displaying, or causing to be published … any communication to the effect that any of the accommodations … will be refused, withheld from or denied to, or that any discrimination be made against, any person on account of their sexual orientation,” (Brad Avakian).

There is little outrage from the Christian community, and few are writing about and discussing it.  If this is allowed to stand, it will have far greater impact on Christians than the SCOTUS ruling.  If we do not stand now, the time is rapidly approaching when it will be fruitless to stand.  “Kangaroo courts” will convene across the nation charging and convicting Christians of numerous trumped up charges.  This is the emerging of a tool for very harsh Christian persecution.  It has already been used successfully.  One man, Brad Avakian, is forcing Christians in Oregon to deny their faith or be wiped out financially.

Avakian is a rogue politician abusing his office and power.  He should be held accountable and recalled.  Emboldened by his actions, many in the homosexual community will come after Christians.  That we can count on.  Are you scared yet?  Are you ready to keep your mouth shut in meek compliance?  If not, where is the outrage?

Went to the florist the other day, and a transvestite waited on me.  I wanted a spray with a Christian message, but he refused to take my order.  He explained it was against his principles to make or sell sprays with Christian messages.  I was devastated.  I believe that I should be compensated for the damages.

First, when I walked out of the door, I immediately had a fit of sneezing ($15k).  Then I got in my car, but the heat was so bad that I felt faint ($5k).  Pulling onto the street a car honked and I had to swerve to keep from hitting it ($5k).  I thought I would feel better if I turned on the radio, but “Another One Bites the Dust” blared out of my speakers ($10k).

At that point, I began to wonder how much damage the transvestite had done to my self-esteem.  After a quick assessment, the results were bad.  I did not feel confident enough to try out for American Idol ($8.5k).   When I went to the ATM, I was frozen at the key pad, fearful of withdrawing some cash ($2.5k).  My fear was confirmed when I looked up and an old lady smiled at me.  I smiled back, but she walked right past and hugged a man behind me ($5k).  I bought a “scratch-off” lottery ticket, but God did not let me win ($2.5k).  At the sub shop next door, I ordered a 6” sub.  The woman asked, “Toasted?”  Why does everyone know what happened to me ($5k)?

From there, I went to Wal-Mart.  It seemed that everyone was avoiding looking at me ($3k).  I bought some nasal decongestant because I heard that 2 squirts on the tongue would take away the smell of onions.  It didn’t work.  I blew on my fingers and could still smell onions ($2k).    On the way out of the store, I walked into the glass panel beside the door ($5k).  Some people laughed ($10k).  I walked past some flowers and a bee attacked me ($2.5k).   Luckily, I wasn’t stung.  I suddenly felt very alone and dejected ($5k).

I was so depressed that I called my pastor ($5k).  After I told him my story, he told me that I was homophobic and needed to see a psychologist ($10k).  The next day, I visited the psychologist.  He gave me a prescription for Prozac and a gay movie on Blu-ray ($15k).

I was at my wits end, in anguish, going from one crisis to another, until I met this homeless guy.  There I was sitting on the park bench when he tried to sell me a small bouquet of flowers for five bucks.  I remarked that I wished it was that easy to buy flowers all the time.  He asked me what I meant, and I told him my story.  When I was finished, he asked me why I didn’t just buy flowers from a Christian florist.  I felt stupid ($25k).
