Cedric Fisher: "earnestly contending for the faith."

Dealing with Satanically Compliant People

There are harsh satanic attacks being carried out against Believers who love, defend, and present truth. Deceived apostates that believe they are servants of God are carrying out that aggression. They are blind to the evidence of their evil ways and believe they are truly godly Christians secured in God’s kingdom.

“The time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service._ – John 16:2

Do not despair my fellow watchmen, you are accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6). The satanic aggression is to make you back down, shut up, and settle into a non-productive religious condition that so many are comfortable with today. It will cost you somehow or some way for every good work—be prepared to pay and pray.

The truth proven by historical evidence is that the wicked one will attack all major progress of a Believer. Do anything significant for God and you should expect the enemy to incite his subjects to harass the Believer. It is not an easy or pleasant thing to endure, especially when it includes false accusations and slander.

There are some things that you can do to turn the entire evil intent back on the one and his flunkies who try to carry it out.

First, do not retaliate. When you fight a battle, fight it on God’s terms, not Satan’s. Retaliating against evil speakers is going down into the miry pit with them. Stay on the hallowed ground of peace where their evil feet cannot tread.

Second, forgive them. Forgiveness puts all wrongs in the hands of God. He will respond with justice and mercy. Furthermore, forgiveness cuts off their access to your spirit. If you dwell on things people say or do to you, then they are still doing them. Forgive and end their access and activity in your spirit.

Third, let the false accusations cause you to search your heart. Pray and repent over everything you discover that is not right or not submitted to God. If you respond to evil aggression by allowing it to humble you, you have won that battle. I would rather my pride catch every blow and fiery dart than to harbor an unhealed wound in my heart.

Fourth, don’t withdraw and become reticent to trust and love people. Smile, hug, say encouraging things to people who are suffering or rejected. In other words look for ways and people to pour out love on. You may speak piercing truth and Satan’s imps may call you mean-spirited, but heaven and needy people will know you as a person who loves.

Fifth, pray for your antagonists. They obey the dark forces of evil; but you have much more power when you pray to the just and righteous God that loves you.

Sixth, do not feel sorry for yourself. The pity option has no blessed fruit. Instead, it can make one feel cheated and entitled to compensation. Satan is all too happy to agree and honor that request. Instead of pity, rejoice in the fact that you are not like them. Be grateful that you can endure pain and prevent it from becoming anger or hate.

Seven, don’t over analyze what evil people do and try to make sense of their actions and words. Just wrap it all up and file it away under nonsense. So what if people despise you for being fully surrendered to God. They are the ones with the problem, not you. So do not play their game of causing you to fret for hours on end daily wrestling over the conundrum of why they are so mean and callused.

I have not always fought those battles efficiently or correctly, but I have learned that doing it God’s way yields the battleground to Him. It is not going to get easier as the evil darkness become stronger. However, I believe that we can continue to develop our response to evil aggression and become overcomers.

“And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” – Matthew 10:22

Amen! The fact that the devil has his servants targeting us so intensely only means that we are doing it right, we are being effective servants of God, obeying His calling and purpose and ministry He gave us. When we are spoken well of by the world, that is when you can start to worry!
We, now more than ever in church history are called to expose error, refute heresy, call out sin, and name names along with their apostasy. Even though it seems that the warning trumpet has sounded and done its job, as long as I have breath in me I will sound the alarm. It is the devil who does not want us to expose the wiles of the deception, the seduction of the apostasy, and the subtle trap of sin and compromise with the world, and false unity in place of sound truth!
Not only that, but I sense that all of this is grooming us for something on another level. If you don’t stand up and speak out for God’s truth now, how will you do it later, when things really get tough? Darker days are coming.

Let us all aspire to the following list:
    1. When injustice reigned, I stood up for the oppressed, the orphan and the widow, the poor. They turned up their noses at me for this and ostracized me.
    2. When the church modeled itself after the world, I surrendered to God and was conformed into the image of Christ. They mocked me for it, as they mocked Him before me.
    3. When the church went down the broad road to destruction, I stood in the gap with the trumpet and sounded the warning. That was when I saw the glint on the fangs and claws of those who professed to be ‘Christ followers.’ The snarl of satan was spiritually behind their expressions.
    4. When I went out into the highways and byways with the gospel, I was ridiculed, reviled, and spit upon. But so they have done to Jesus before me.
    5. When I followed and obeyed the ways of God and went against the tide all around me, at personal expense, that was when they beat me and took away my livelihood.
    6. When I stood on the roof top and shouted down those who would arrogantly oppose God and His ways and laws, and refuted the blasphemers and those who decry the Christian faith, that was when they arrested me.
    7. When I refused to deny Christ at all cost, that was when they crucified me.

They will not do anything to me, that they did not already do to Him before me.
As we follow His will, they will not spare us either. He gives us the strength for each step of the way. The way to follow Him is to stay focused on Him, and not on ourselves.

    C. H., You mentioned something I have often through about, forgiveness, presumably for someone who neither requested it or desires it. We can extend forgiveness, just as God does to sinners, but until it is requested and received it is not accomplished, don’t you think?

I believe the issue is, are we willing to forgive? If we offer forgiveness the burden is lightened and if it is received the burden is removed. If there’s no sorrow and no desire for restoration we can’t forgive, only be willing to, right?

Whether or not the person accepts that you forgave them, forgiveness is accomplished the moment you sincerely forgive. Forgiveness is about us; about removing grudges and about clearing ourselves from the desire for retribution. The Scriptures make it clear that it is our responsibility to forgive. If the person whom you forgive does not accept it or makes light of it, it does not diminish or alter the effect of your forgiveness. When you forgive the burden, pain, anger, resentment, et cetera, will eventually go away. Sometimes it happens immediately. That factor is not dependent on the other individual. Forgiveness is an act of human grace that stands on its own merit.

Thank you for the articles filled with biblical truth and advice on these situations. I have often experienced anger and not forgiveness and mercy towards those believing the lies of Satan and that can be a problem I cause for myself because of pride. What a hypocrite that makes me.
