\u201cOh, I do trust Him!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you really?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCertainly I do!\u00a0 Are you doubting me?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy are you fighting this battle in your own strength?\u00a0 Why are you doing it your way, making all the decisions, and I might add, making all those mistakes?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything\u2019s falling to pieces.\u00a0 I have to do something.\u00a0 I can\u2019t just sit back and watch it all go downhill.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s falling to pieces because you\u2019re not trusting. God said \u2018Trust Me.\u2019 You clearly heard Him.\u00a0 It was the answer that you prayed for.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know, but\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, there\u2019s the rub.\u00a0 You are putting a condition on your trust.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I\u2019ve already told you that I trust Him.\u00a0 How could I not trust Him?\u00a0 He saved me from darkness and hell.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou trust Him, but\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I can\u2019t let everything fall apart and do nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSee?\u00a0 You will trust Him as long as everything goes the way you think it should.\u00a0 You will trust Him with your eyes, but not your heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGod knows my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe certainly does, and He knows that you are not trusting Him with your heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou’re being judgmental.\u00a0 And you\u2019re condemning me.\u00a0 Who are you to tell me what to do?\u00a0 You don\u2019t understand what I\u2019m going through.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNow you\u2019re trying to change the subject, divert the focus from your lack of trust to my qualifications and intent.\u00a0 Please answer one question.\u00a0 Are you trusting God fully from the heart?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to you I\u2019m not?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, it is according to your words.\u00a0 Now here is the truth.\u00a0 I will tell you because I love you.\u00a0 You can fight this battle in your strength, using your intelligence, your experience, reasoning skills, etc., or you can submit to God\u2019s will and let Him fight it.\u00a0 It\u2019s that simple.\u00a0 If you really trust God, it is a simple choice to make.\u00a0 If you doubt that He can solve this crisis, then you will never take your hands off of it.\u00a0 He is not going to let you tinker in the matter while He is doing a far superior work.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t know how difficult it is to do nothing while everything falls apart around me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTrusting God is not doing nothing.\u00a0 You said it was very difficult.\u00a0 That means it is doing something.\u00a0 That\u2019s why it is easier to put your hands in the matter.\u00a0 How are you ever going to have great faith if you never use it in a time of great need?\u00a0 You trusted Him with your soul when He saved you.\u00a0 Now trust Him to keep what you commit to Him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the most difficult thing I have ever done.\u00a0 I feel completely helpless.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPardon the clich\u00e9, but that is when He is completely helpful.\u00a0 His strength is made perfect in your weakness.\u00a0 That\u2019s in 2 Corinthians 12:9.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know.\u00a0 I know all the answers.\u00a0 You\u2019re not telling me anything I don\u2019t already know.\u00a0 But knowing it and putting it into practice are two completely different things.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, and that is the great fight of faith that every true Christian must fight.\u00a0 Whatever He puts under His feet will be under your feet. \u00a0But you cannot put it under your feet first, and expect that He is going to follow you.\u00a0 He said, \u2018Let me handle it.\u2019\u00a0 That was His answer.\u00a0 You response is to trust Him.\u00a0 Can you pray, \u2018Not my will but Your\u2019s, Father God.\u2019?”<\/p>\n

\u201cI will yield to His will.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo matter if it gets worse?\u00a0 And even if it looks like all hope for victory is gone?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes. I don\u2019t know how I\u2019m going to do that, but I will do the best I can do.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThen according to God, who cannot lie, you will be victorious.\u00a0 Not by your might, or your power, but by His Spirit.\u00a0 When it is over, you will have gained more than a victory.\u00a0 You will have gained something spiritually that cannot be measured in worth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you\u2019re right.\u00a0 This is new territory for me.\u00a0 I hope I do not fail.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one has ever failed who put their trust in God.\u00a0 The only failure is not to trust Him. \u00a0The path from trusting in our abilities to trusting in His love and power cannot be travelled on our feet, but on our knees.\u00a0 Comfort comes from the feet, but fire comes from the knees.\u00a0 That fire will burn away all fear and doubt.\u00a0 Pray until peace comes.\u00a0 When peace arrives, your trust is complete.\u201d<\/p>\n
