I do not believe that the Antichrist will appear as a sinister man with a perceptibly diabolical spirit. \u00a0Instead, he will be gregarious, charismatic, charming, and very clever with words. \u00a0Consider the power of words. \u00a0A man can take over a nation, convince the intelligentsia to commit incredible acts of brutality, exterminate over 6 million Jews, and start a world war, with nothing but words. \u00a0Likewise, Satan\u2019s Antichrist, personified by Satan himself, will rise to the highest level of influence by the power of diabolically inspired rhetoric. \u00a0Other leaders captivated by his words will become his puppets, and they will have puppets under them. He will be one of the most proficient masters of doublespeak.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>What is doublespeak?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDoublespeak is language that deliberately disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words. \u00a0Doublespeak may take the form of euphemisms (e.g., “downsizing” for layoffs, “servicing the target” for bombing), in which case it is primarily meant to make the truth sound more palatable. \u00a0It may also refer to intentional ambiguity in language or to actual inversions of meaning (for example, naming a state of war “peace”). \u00a0In such cases, doublespeak disguises the nature of the truth. \u00a0Doublespeak is most closely associated with political language.\u201d (Wikipedia)<\/p>\n

“Doublespeak is language which pretends to communicate but doesn’t. \u00a0It is language which makes the bad seem good, the negative seem positive, the unpleasant seem unattractive, or at least tolerable. \u00a0It is language which avoids, shifts, or denies responsibility; language which is at variance with its real or purported meaning. \u00a0It is language which conceals or prevents thought.\u00a0 \u00a0Doublespeak is all around us. \u00a0We are asked to check our packages at the desk ‘for our convenience’ when it’s not for our convenience at all but for someone else’s convenience. \u00a0We see advertisements for ‘preowned,’ ‘experienced’ or ‘previously distinguished’ cars, not used cars and for ‘genuine imitation leather,’ ‘virgin vinyl’ or ‘real counterfeit diamonds.'” (William Lutz)<\/p>\n

To depict more clearly how much society is controlled by doublespeak, consider that there was a time when a popular person caught in a major wrongdoing would be forced into obscurity by outrage by the public and shame. \u00a0Now they simply deny and doublespeak until all the dust settles. \u00a0It is not long before he or she is treated with respect and honor as if nothing ever happened. \u00a0Politicians today are caught in sexual scandals, financial improprieties, making shady deals, and etcetera, but survive because they continued to deny and doublespeak until the atmosphere clears. \u00a0It works quite well because of the fact that people get tired of a news story after a few days. \u00a0Additionally, people are not easily outraged nowadays, and certainly not for a very long period. \u00a0As a result, we now have a significant number of people governing our nation that, if not for their fame, would never be allowed permission to enter our homes. \u00a0What is even more ominous is the fact that many politicians now believe that they can get away with almost everything. \u00a0\u00a0They not only make themselves appear innocent, they make themselves likeable. \u00a0\u00a0As the words become more clever, the fruit becomes more poisonous or rotten.<\/p>\n

Noam Chomsky makes the following statement about doublespeak in Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media. <\/i><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/i>The point is that in a … totalitarian state, it doesn’t much matter what people think because … you can control what they do. But when the state loses the bludgeon, when you can’t control people by force and when the voice of the people can be heard, … you have to control what people think. And the standard way to do this is to resort to what in more honest days used to be called propaganda. \u00a0Manufacture of consent. \u00a0Creation of necessary illusions.\u201d<\/p>\n

To illustrate the degree of deception that doublespeak can produce, one individual compared doublespeak to an experiment where one group of rats were fed sugar water and another group was fed saccharine water. \u00a0When they were deprived of food, none of the rats in either group appeared to be hungry. \u00a0However, the rats that were fed saccharine water died from starvation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis experiment suggests certain analogies between the environments created for rats by the scientists and the environments created for us humans by language and the various mass media of communication. \u00a0Like the saccharine environment, an environment created or infiltrated by doublespeak provides the appearance of nourishment and the promise of survival, but the appearance is illusionary and the promise false.\u201d (Terrence Moran)<\/p>\n

It is important to realize how doublespeak is affecting Christianity today. \u00a0We are obviously in a different period. \u00a0Something has changed in the past few decades that has turned secular society into a maze of lies. \u00a0Trying to get to the truth about each controversial matter is very difficult. \u00a0Attempting to convince a significant number of people about a deceiver and his\/her deception is a near impossible task. \u00a0\u00a0It takes volumes of words to expose the works of the deceiver or heretic. \u00a0However, in the past decade, an cacophony of lying voices have now invaded Christianity. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0This is a period of intense deception and apostasy. \u00a0In fact, I believe that this is the period prophesied by the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe coming of the lawless one<\/i> is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOne will not be able to detect them by their words, by their appearance, or by any other visible means except their fruit.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This means that an unprecedented number of lying spirits have been unleashed in this world. \u00a0There are many wolves that make no attempt to hide their wolfishness, but there are many more wolves in sheep\u2019s clothing. \u00a0We ought to be aware and not forget that Christ declared there was only one way to recognize a wolf in sheep\u2019s clothing. \u00a0One will not be able to detect them by their words, by their appearance, or by any other visible means except their fruit. \u00a0The religious wolves know this very well. \u00a0They also know that most people are subject to having their attention diverted from their fruit to something less important. \u00a0All the wolf has to do is mesmerize them with doublespeak, and they submit their minds and spirits.<\/p>\n

Satan, the master wolf, is literally controlling the world today with doublespeak. \u00a0Christ declared that Satan was a liar from the beginning. \u00a0In the beginning, Satan used doublespeak to convince Eve to disobey (Genesis 3:1-4). \u00a0He convinced her that she would be like God.\u00a0 Similarly, he is convincing a plethora of Christians today that they can be gods. \u00a0The fact is that Satan lied and his emissaries are lying today. \u00a0Their lies are practically undetectable by the undiscerning masses because they are woven with doublespeak.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is really important in the world of doublespeak is the ability to lie, whether knowingly or unconsciously, and to get away with it; and the ability to use lies and choose and shape facts selectively, blocking out those that don\u2019t fit an agenda or program.\u201d (Edward S. Herman)<\/p>\n

Doublespeak has become a powerful force in Christianity in these last days.\u00a0 That is probably due in great measure to the outpouring of satanic deception with an inundation of demon spirits. \u00a0False Christians have come to realize that the method works very well. \u00a0They now use it to do whatever they wish while avoiding the consequences. \u00a0When they are confronted, they simply deny the charges, speak all the right words that portray them as true Christians, and doublespeak. \u00a0In the process, they shift the focus from their fruit to semantics, and eventually to their accuser(s). \u00a0Often, they are able to paint their accuser(s) as harsh, bitter, ignorant, or of having some carnal agenda for attacking them. \u00a0As a result, they have attained high levels of fame, influence, and wealth. \u00a0\u00a0Heresy is invading on a large scale so that virtually no one is unaffected.\u00a0 \u00a0Paganism has been introduced into Christianity practically unhindered through Contemplative Spirituality.\u00a0 Chrislam is gaining momentum as at least one large denomination has formed an alliance with Islamic groups. \u00a0Other heresies and heretical people are spreading at a rapid rate throughout Christianity with little or no resistance. \u00a0It was predictable that doublespeak would eventually be employed as a tactic by heretics, but I do not know of anyone that predicted it on this scale. \u00a0However, if it can be used to control a nation, why wouldn’t wicked people use it to control Christianity?<\/p>\n

An example of how the religious wolf uses words to counter charges that might expose him is as follows. \u00a0A famous pastor was recently accused of \u201cpartnering\u201d with Muslims. He vehemently denied \u201cpartnering\u201d with Muslims, but insisted that he was \u201cbuilding a bridge\u201d. Partner means; \u201cSomebody who is involved in an activity with somebody else.\u201d \u00a0Bridge-building means; \u201cEfforts to establish communications and friendly contacts between people in order to make them friends, allies, and etcetera\u201d. \u00a0\u00a0It is obvious that the pastor knows that he is involved in activities with Muslims, and therefore has partnered with them. He may indeed build a bridge, but that bridge is to facilitate involvement in activities with Muslims. \u00a0But by attacking the word \u201cpartnering\u201d and redefining it, he is able to distract the reader from main topic. \u00a0He manipulated the semantics, plus extolled his virtues, and thus shifted the focus from him to his detractors. \u00a0There is no fear of any serious repercussions for his actions (fruit) because he knows that the greater majority of people will be influenced by his words. \u00a0If you ignore his doublespeak and simply consider his works (fruit), you realize that he is doing exactly what you thought he was doing before becoming distracted by his doublespeak.<\/p>\n
