Warnings feel dull, irksome, and fatiguing to their comfortably apathetic souls. Consequently, they have shut their ears, eyes, and minds to prophetic warnings. Apostate Tony Campolo’s book “The Kingdom of God is a Party,” published in 1992, is now an accurate assessment.

We are witnessing in the secular realm total capitulation to evil. No Genuine Christian influence remains. Evil sells. Evil is a quick path to popularity. Evil is pleasurable and fun.

Evil even builds church attendance. Just ask the leaders of denominations and pastors genuflecting at the feet of false prophets, prophetesses, and hirelings—solely because those minions of darkness draw a crowd.

Righteousness is not trending in the religion that claims to perpetuate Christ-following. Wholesale abandonment to the wiles of the Devil is the new church growth gimmick. Although what those leaders and their followers are acquiescing to is smeared with the pretension of righteousness, it has not a scintilla of God’s favor.

Only the fulfillment of Peter’s prophecy can purge this world of its extreme departure from and rejection of God. Instead of preparing for the biblically inevitable, they are emulating the ones damned by vacant love for truth.

Sadly, millions, perhaps billions of professing Christians—minds currently buried in apathy—will scramble to be part of the New (godless) Utopia when it comes. And it is rapidly approaching.

This nation of fat-cat professing Christian’s who cannot even endure an election loss without becoming obsessed political activists will be forced to choose between accepting a New Secular and Religious World Order, or the loss of materialism and comfort. They will choose the former without hesitation because years of compromised has made them ready.

Shock alert: A significant number of Christianity’s leaders have already wittingly or unwittingly made the decision to accept the New Utopia. Why? As the cost became greater to obey God, they incrementally rejected the influence of the Holy Spirit. They maintain the empty form of godliness. Weak and distracted professing Christians are blissfully unaware. As long as they can have church meetings, music that stimulates their flesh, and the preaching is entertaining, all is well.

It reminds me of the 1937 great Hindenburg disaster. The Hindenburg was a massive Zeppelin. When it began its flight, the radio announcer said, “Well, here it comes, ladies and gentlemen; we’re out now, outside of the hangar. And what a great sight it is, a thrilling one, just a marvelous sight. Now and then the propellers are caught in the rays of sun, their highly polished surfaces reflect. The sun is striking the windows of the observation deck on the eastward side and sparkling like glittering jewels on the background of black velvet.“

When it caught fire, he cried, “And oh, it’s…burning, oh, four or five hundred feet into the sky. It’s a terrific crash, ladies and gentlemen. The smoke and the flames now and the frame is crashing to the ground, not quite to the mooring mast. Oh, the humanity and all the passengers screaming around here. I told you. It’s — I can’t even talk to people whose friends were on there. It — It’s….I — I can’t talk ladies and gentlemen.

Honest, it’s completely a mass of smoking wreckage. And everybody can’t hardly breathe. It’s hard, it’s crazy. Lady, I — I — I’m sorry. Honestly, I — I can hardly breathe.

I — I’m gonna step inside where I cannot see it. Charley, that’s terrible. I – I can’t….Listen folks, I — I’m gonna have to stop for a minute because I’ve lost my voice. This is the worst thing I’ve ever witnessed!”

Everyone on board and one person on the ground died. When the judgement falls, no one will grab a megaphone and shout, “I warned you!” It will just be over.

How negative—how true!

“Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?” —2 Peter 3:11-12

By Cedric Fisher |April 21, 2002 I realize that the overwhelming majority of professing Christians have drifted too far from God to receive warnings.
