If anyone is wondering why ecumenism with Roman Catholicism is becoming such a dominant force? Does anyone wonder why most popular Christian music has no ministry? Why are there so many heretics and clueless hirelings. How about why people are accepting \u201cHey Hater\u201d preachers (Steven Furtick) in skinny jeans egotistically prancing about and preaching like they graduated from Satan\u2019s Seminary? There is an answer.<\/p>\n
True Christianity is becoming obscure. It must be defined or it will be destroyed. Time is running out. The oldest generation is dying. When they are gone, there will be only a few Believers that experienced a genuine relationship with God.<\/p>\n
The fact is that a great majority of Millennials and GenX generations simply do not know God. They never had a genuine spiritual experience with Him and have no leadership examples or proper teaching to inspire them to do so. Consequently, they have no fear of God. He is a pal\u2014a buddy, or a doting old grandfather. Some of them view Him as a genie dishing out unlimited wishes. They are not born of the Holy Spirit and have no clue Who He is. They do not know what genuine Christ-following is. They have been taught that historical Christianity is a farce and needs to be completely rejected. In its place is a mixture from the materialistic Positive Confession Movement, Charismatic Movement, Seeker-Sensitive Movement, Emergent Church Movement, with a host of star pastors and authors that have added their bizarre notions to the cauldron of errors. Anyone that attempts to inform them about true Christianity is viewed as a love-empty legalist, old-fashioned (thus rejectable), or\u2014because the information is strange to them\u2014a heretic.<\/p>\n
With a plethora of unbiblical standards pretentiously defining truth and direction, thousands of Satan\u2019s minions have slipped in and gained control. We are witnessing Christianity now being slain by a thousand cuts via apostates, reprobates, and imposters. We are way past the time for strong rebukes against what the apostle Jude calls the creepers and their damnable doctrine (Jude 1). In my strong opinion, we are witnessing the great and final mass apostasy and deception that the apostle Paul prophesied about in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.<\/p>\n
God\u2019s truth must be proclaimed boldly and often in this critical period. However, the prevalent cry is for sermons that are revenant to the culture. Enter the hipster pastors fluent in street language.<\/p>\n
People that are saturated with diabolical culture and attempting to be Christians are flocking to be under the influence of worldling babblers in the pulpit. They need truth, but by mocking truth, constantly insisting that it is limiting, hindering, and removes one\u2019s liberty to have God and the World System, the Babblers have convinced them that genuine truth is old religion that needs to be completely dismissed.<\/p>\n
Truth cannot be altered to fulfill our carnal desires and self-centered wishes. God doesn\u2019t bend it, clip it, dilute it, paint over it, soften it, add trash-talk to it, mitigate the strength of it, dull its tip and blade, or anything else to entice people to accept a nibble or two. One has to love it, seek all of it, and hold onto it as he or she were clinging to eternal life.<\/p>\n
\u201cFight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.\u201d \u2014 1 Timothy 6:12 (The entire chapter should be read for context.)<\/p>\n
Make no mistake about it! The way to heaven is not subject to a democratic process. God will not read our r\u00e9sum\u00e9\u2019s or PR Bios to judge our qualifications to enter His eternal Kingdom. Preachers offering easy believism, promising quick entry through the pearly gates, and otherwise lying to the masses, convincing them that God yields to their desire to satisfy the flesh, are in danger of eternal separation from God.<\/p>\n
\u201cYah, well you\u2019re an old guy that\u2019s part of the problem.\u201d<\/p>\n
Age has nothing to do with whether truth is genuine or not. Perhaps many in the younger generations would accept the truth if they heard it from one of their generations. God could raise a GenX preacher that would make my message appear pale in comparison.<\/p>\n
King Josiah was 18 years old when he heard the reading of the Law and \u201cturned to the Lord with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might.\u201d \u2014 2 Kings 22-23<\/p>\n
However, I\u2019ve been preaching this message since as a young man I was delivered from the darkness over 4 decades ago. God\u2019s word is clear\u2014the heretics, hirelings, and charlatans swarming the religion of Christianity are the ones speaking lies. The true message, presented by the apostle Paul, identifies Christianity as the opposite of what the generations are being taught.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
\nBut ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.\u201d \u2014 Romans 8:6-9 (Again, the entire chapter should be read for context.)<\/p>\n
The apostle Paul wrote nearly two-thirds of the New Testament. He made it plain what Christ did for us, and what God requires for us to be accepted in the Beloved. No casual wanderer with lip-service faith and an autonomous rebel spirit will get in or remain in. The edges of redemption are covered with tears of joy unspeakable.<\/p>\n
God\u2019s word does not have a \u201cskin\u201d that can be peeled off, revealing a truth tailored for the next generation. It is relevant for all generations, but perhaps more necessary today.<\/p>\n
Consider Paul\u2019s very thorough definition of true Christianity in his letter to Titus. It kicks false soteriology to the curb and calls people into rightness in the Holy Spirit. The reason is that Crete was a church packed with individuals that blended Christianity with heresy and immorality. Paul called them, \u201cabominable, disobedient, and disqualified (reprobate).\u201d That about sums up the bad fruit of some currently prevalent versions of Christianity.<\/p>\n
There are at least 7 sermons in Paul\u2019s letter.<\/p>\n
True Grace: \u201cFor the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,\u201d (Romans 6)
\nDeny Flesh & the World: \u201cGrace teaches us to denying ungodliness and worldly lusts.\u201d (Hebrews 10:26-31)
\nLive Righteously: \u201cWe should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.\u201d (2 Peter 1)
\nDeny Apathy: \u201cLook for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.\u201d (Colossians 3)
\nRedemption\u2019s Story: \u201cChrist gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed.\u201d (2 Corinthians 5)
\nThe Glorious Church: \u201cChrist intended to purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.\u201d (Ephesians 5)
\nThe Church\u2014God\u2019s channel of truth to the world: \u201cSpeak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.\u201d (Ephesians 4) \u2014 Titus 2:11-15<\/p>\n
The fact is, if genuine Christians in the older generations do not speak and live the truth, the younger generations are not going to know anything they can hold onto until eternity.<\/p>\n
I exhort pastors, stop trying to pacify people, and begin rectifying their concept of God and His kingdom.<\/p>\n
Please stop trying to build the numerical value of the church and instead focus on spiritual value.<\/p>\n
Avoid the atmosphere that lures people into the building, but they go out in the same spiritually rancid condition as they came in with.<\/p>\n
Church buildings are not businesses or places of entertainment\u2014they are learning centers. Preach and teach God\u2019s life-giving word!<\/p>\n
The USSR, once consider Holy Russia, one of the most Christian nations in the world, was replete with immaculate buildings, and a history rich with Christian heritage. But Christianity was dead to its core. Professing Christians worshiped doctrine and titles more than God. They desired and honored symbolism rather than substance. It all collapsed under the outrage and scorn of the secular masses (People should read Russia\u2019s Christian history for themselves).<\/p>\n
Consider Russia now. After Marxism took over, Christianity\u2019s outward symbolism became shambles just as Judaism did. Their beautiful buildings became government offices. Many other buildings were destroyed. Christ prophesied that the great buildings His disciples referred to would come down (Matthew 24:2). However, professing Christians in America are determined to follow the same path as the leaders and people in ancient Israel and professing Christians in Russia.
