When the phrase \u201cpolitically correct\u201d was inserted into America\u2019s jargon, I protested. But I was as a mouse squeaking from the very bottom of a large ship. The term is used to describe everything that is politically wrong. I refuse to use it. However, otherwise sensible people accepted the perversion without a second thought.<\/p>\n
They also rail against \u201cthe government\u201d when it\u2019s not the government, it\u2019s the demented liberal Democratic Party that is hell-bent on destroying America. Call it as it is and identify the problem and the culprits.<\/p>\n
Now people are saying that ungodly professing Christians, churches, denominations, and Christian organizations that indulge in vile perversion of truth, are\u00a0the Church. Again I squeak loudly from deep within the hull, \u201cNO IT IS NOT THE CHURCH!\u201d The Church is the Body of Christ whose members are filled with the Holy Spirit and walk in godliness. Instead, it is Christianity\u2014once a description of the followers of Christ, now it defines a religion deathly sick with the infection of apostasy. NEVER confuse the two!<\/p>\n
Not making that distinction is deeply wrong. It is not only accusative of the Body of Christ, but it presents to the public the Church as a massive diseased organism stricken and rotting with sin leprosy with a bit of good flesh in between the festering sores. It gives place to Satan! I have even caught myself making that error in the past! No more!<\/p>\n
Of course, the error has been committed for so long that it will be said that I am straining at a gnat. Not true! Would anyone present Christ as anything other than the sinless Son of God? If not, then why do we slander His body by calling wicked apostate and compromised professing Christians \u201cthe Church?\u201d<\/p>\n
Where does that leave the true Church? It leaves it blended and obscured, not a peculiar people called out of darkness, not people who are sanctified and refuse to fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but a people mixed with wickedness. It does not mean that members of the Body of Christ are perfect and never sin, but it means that they are \u201cpressing toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.\u201d As such, they are not indulging in and compromising with the wickedness of the world system, its corrupt political bent, entertainment, and the influence of its hedonistic and licentious culture.\u00a0 The true Remnant are the ones that have godliness with substance, that are fighting the good fight of faith, that have crucified the flesh and its lusts, who are walking in the Spirit and manifesting the fruits of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n
I exhort all true Christians\u2014please stop making this error! Expose the darkness! Please stop criticizing and rebuking the Church. Make the distinction between the Body of Christ and the apostasy.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd on some have compassion,\u00a0making a distinction;\u00a0but\u00a0others save\u00a0with fear,\u00a0pulling\u00a0them\u00a0out of the\u00a0fire, hating even\u00a0the garment defiled by the flesh.\u201d \u2013 Jude 1:22-23<\/p>\n
Define the entry point for sinners and the exit point for apostates. The entry point into the Body of Christ for sinners is genuine repentance and belief in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. The exit point for apostates is their willful, flagrant, and unrepentant sinfulness.<\/p>\n
Begin right now calling out the compromised ones and their sins for what it is, the great apostasy of Christianity. Otherwise we are doing the Devil a great favor by allowing him to operate covertly in the light of day.<\/p>\n
Please, for the sake of clarity and honor for the Body of the precious Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, use the right term to describe the entity of spiritual wickedness and apostasy. That entity is Christianity, the religion that has apostatized beyond critical mass\u2014and not the Church, the Body of Christ.
