Now that the great and final apostasy has gone beyond critical mass, many changes have occurred in Christianity. None of them have been for the good. Perceptions of godliness and spirituality have changed. Many practices and concepts that were once evil are now considered “God’s new thang.” The so-called “worship service” entertains the flesh. The major criteria for “church growth” is excitement. No wonder heretics and hirelings the perfect for leadership.
Apostate Tony Campolo’s 1992 book is entitled, “The Kingdom of God is a Party.” Now, 30 years later, apostate Christianity is having a party and its party planners are demons. None of them hunger and thirst for righteousness. Spiritual integrity and faithfulness to God are missing from Christianity. However, rarely will the “Christian” party-goers suffer being corrected. It goes against their fun-loving spirit.
Party-goers are excited by the mere suggestion of signs and wonders. To keep their attention and attract others like them, Leaders invite demonic wolves to work magic and seduce the people. They are enamored with popular satanic minions and their ability to generate, harness, and profit from emotionalism. They ignore the warnings of God’s servants and are free-falling into inextricable darkness. They push conviction from their consciences—they want the soothing deception of the party spirits. They are being prepared to fall face forward when the lawless one comes “according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10)
What is clear to people who pray is hidden from the party-goers and their leaders. They believe they are on the high road, but they have swerved and entered the broad path downward to destruction.
Another consequence of this dark and darkening period is that the perception of truth has been turned upside down. There is no great concern and haste to repent when evil is exposed. Instead, people label truth as negative, harsh, and without love, and declare it to be of Satan. They portray God’s watchmen as bitter, negative, and harsh individuals who are opposed to supernatural signs and wonders. That is categorically false. The watchmen are manifesting the supernatural—they speak for Omnipotent God. That takes much more preparation and dedication than a cell phone call to a false prophet, prophetess, or charlatan, who claims to manifest signs and wonders.
The truth is unacceptable during an apostasy. Therefore, the ones that have risen to power in both the secular and religious realms are for the most part demonic. They may appear gregarious, kind, dedicated, and even project a servant’s heart. Three passages we should consider lest we are deceived by outward appearances.
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?” — Matthew 7:15-16
(In verses 15, 16, and 20, Christ declared, not “You will know them by their suits,” but He said, “You will know them, not by their sheet’s clothing, but by their fruit. )
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” — Matthew 24:24
Do we believe that in this period of great apostasy we can recognize evil leaders by outward appearances? Christ warns us of deception so clever and believable that if possible the very elect could be deceived. Are we going to recognize and avoid that deception by outward appearances? What makes it not possible for the very elect to be deceived? It is the ability to see beyond the outward appearances and view the true nature of cleverly disguised carriers of darkness and deception.
That is what God’s watchmen do. They look beyond the persona of uprightness and by the enablement of the Holy Spirit see the spiritually decrepit condition of the soul. Why would God send prophets and watchmen if people did not need them? This is the last time watchmen and prophets will be sent to warn people, rebuke, and expose the demonic leadership. If people do not listen and respond this time, there will not be another opportunity when complete spiritual darkness falls on this world.
I could post pictures of popular men and women, highly praised for their leadership and supernatural abilities, and caption the collage, “Demonic Minions of Satan.” There would be outrage and unfettered anger from the professing Christian masses. The fact is that the “Who’s Who” list in Christianity is packed with compromised individuals that are being led by demons.
The question may be, “Then who can we trust?”
There is but one choice. The time for following people has passed. It is imperative that people pray, empty themselves in total abandon to God, and to the extent that they can hear and respond to the Holy Spirit. He alone can guide us through the maze of apostasy.
You cannot trust leaders that have risen to power by the thrust of apostasy. Individuals that genuinely pray, who present truth, identify deception and deceivers, and warn the people, will not rise to leadership. Like the watchmen and prophets, they are disqualified because they speak and defend the truth. The atmosphere of apostasy produces and only allows charlatans to ascend to leadership.
Simon the Sorcerer is an example of what motivates current leadership. Simon was motivated by power, money, and fame. Leaders that associate with and openly support flagrantly diabolical people cannot be indwelled by the Holy Spirit. They are possessed by the spirit in Simon. Their focus is on numerical value because it is the basis of fame and income. None of them would choose to identify with Christ or the apostles that forsook all to present and defend the truth. They use their positions as symbolic of their validity as servants of God, but inside they are filled with the substance of spiritual death.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.” — Matthew 23:27-28
The religious wickedness in Christianity is as secular wickedness in the World System. People strongly protest what they identify as a completely incompetent and diabolical President of our nation. They have no struggle identifying the demonic leaders that surround him. However, when the same discernment is applied to the leaders of Christianity they protest and defend them.
The question is: “What has been gained if wicked leaders in the secular realm are identified and opposed, but wicked leaders in Christianity are not identified and are accepted?” Whether secular or religious, they are in both sectors “ministers of death.”
This is not the period for keeping a box of sand nearby where one’s head can be buried when the same level of discernment and exposure of the secular leaders are applied in Christianity.
This is not a game! If one ignores warning signs and traffic lights on a busy thoroughfare, it could cost him or her life. Ignore what is unambiguous spiritual wickedness in high places and it may cost one his or her soul. It’s past time to wake, pray, pray, and pray some more, and heed the Holy Spirit. Satan is blinding people to the wickedness of the apostate leaders. Their sins are openly committed. They openly fraternize with New Age operatives, wicked charlatans, heretics, false prophets and prophetesses, and are leading people into the spiritual death of rejecting love for truth.
Father God, open their eyes! Cause them to see the evil worm of wickedness in the leaders before they are infected and overcome!
This is so good. Said perfectly from the heart. Such evil days we are in
Thank you for your courage,
I am an American living alone in southern Mexico. It is the same here, even in the poorest state in which I live. I continue to minister alone with Christ without true human fellowship. It is very encouraging and uplifting to read your words. The internet is dominated by Calvanists. In my experience, there is more to them than just a different belief, it is a spirit and it is sewn throughout all of their teaching. Therefore, please know that your site is important to many.
Blessings in Christ
Thank you. It is always a blessing to know that someone is benefiting from my efforts. I will put you in my prayer manual and pray for your daily.
Warren, I too am alone and would love to communicate with you about the Lord Jesus. I have no real true Christians because they don’t want to hear the truth of God and that makes me so sad. They say they love the Lord but what they do says otherwise.
I have found a teacher of the pure truth of God and he is amazing. When you hear him speak you know that he is a godly man with a godly wife. He is what a minister of God should be always preaching the truth no matter what other people say. You can truly tell that he has been called by God to preach the truth.
If you see and read this reply please leave a message here and I will check back every few days to see if you have replied. Until later, have a very lovely day filled with the love of the Lord.
I will pray for you too Warren and just know that you are not alone now, as I have read your message on the truthkeepers.com and am hoping to have you as a pen pal.
Love in Christ,
JoeyAnn
