Cedric Fisher: "earnestly contending for the faith."

Built on Sand (Matthew 7:26-27)

At this point in the night I am getting ready to go to bed. I never stay up and watch election results. No matter how it turns out there is a clear fact that cannot be ignored. Consider that the Democrats fully exposed how truly evil they are with no shame or contrition nearly on a daily basis. It appears that the prerequisite to become a candidate in their party is to be a reprobate with a serious mental disorder and a passion to destroy everything decent. Republican should win every race by a landslide. That’s not going to occur.

Here is what that indicates and I know some people do not want to accept it. It is an indicator that a significant number of Americans wish for a vile and immoral government hell-bent on destroying the nation. Our society has morally degraded into demonic senselessness. Truth and justice are shrinking islands in a sea of diabolical piranhas. Godliness is the most endangered of them all. Thus, in a hedonistic society wickedness is a cherished commodity.

The truth is, they build on sand that put their hope in politics. The reality is that these vile people and their millions of drone subjects are eventually going to gain control of the government. The only factor that can prevent it from happening is a genuine great awakening. However, Christianity is greatly compromised with apostasy.

Professing Christians need to stop ignoring that we are in the last days. God has been trying to wake them up for decades, yet they sleep.

Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.” – Ephesians 5:14

Those Christians (?) who are today talking about what a great election victory the Repubs had are worse than ignorant. They have truly apostasied and are trusting in the horses and chariots of compromise that they are riding rather than of the”name of the Lord our God”. God help them when their fantasies have been stripped from them by the realization that they trusted in a political system rather than Jehovah God and His prophetical Word.

Yes, I see that as well. The democrats care only for legalizing sin. The republicans have their own set of imperfections. They often appear to represent one thing, but once in power, all things continue to go on as they have been, usually with their permission. Yet so many Christians put their trust in one side, or even worse, the other. Then they expect a miracle. From one who is a mere man and not walking with God. “But, but… it’s a republican, so all things should be restored to perfection now!” Then the country is not turned into the Promised Land again, and their hopes are dashed like a shattered clay pot on a brick floor. The fact is, we are in the end times and there is no turning back, it is past the point of no return. It’s not going to get any better. In fact, it’s only going to get worse. Yet people grasp at straws for hope, unwilling to face the inevitable reality, wanting to slumber into better times again. But better times are not coming. The days ahead will only get darker. To the point where our only joy will be God alone. Sometimes I wonder if that wall is not being built to keep some out, but to keep others in, the way it’s going to be in the future, like many tyrannies in times past. The true test is yet ahead.
