Cedric Fisher: "earnestly contending for the faith."

They Love Error more than Truth

Professing Christians are fawning over every heretic, heresy, heretical book, and blasphemous movie. They will race off to conferences with a speaker lineup that reads like a “Who’s Who” in false “ministers of righteousness.”  The truth floats on by them, but they eagerly reach out, grab, and gush over every falsehood.  But they will not rejoice over or promote truth. Further, they refuse to invest any time and energy defending anyone who presents truth when they are under attack.

So God sends His messengers to warn them just as He sent prophets to apostate Israel. But will they listen? They will not listen. We are in the last of the last days before this earth is shaken by the consequences of its rebellion. God knows their hearts are hard, their ears are dull, and their eyes refuse to see, but He sends His messengers anyway. Why?

He sends them because God is just, He is merciful, and God is love.  He is not willing that the wicked should perish.  He sends His messengers because He wants people to heed, return to Him, surrender, reject wickedness and accept righteousness, and be spared the consequences of their sinfulness.

But they reject God’s messengers. They call them mean-spirited, hateful, ignorant, self-righteous, and even diabolical, for the sole reason that His messengers pierce their fickle and carnal hearts with anointed truth.

When they speak harsh rebukes to God’s messengers, they are speaking against Him. Condemning God’s messengers is as condemning the message and the One who sent it. It is as rejecting His righteous authority.

There will be judgment for that great sin. The reason is because it not only prevents the individuals who reject it from entering the kingdom of heaven, it deceives and prevents other ones from entering.

When one is so weak and unknowledgeable that he or she cannot recognize a heretic or a heresy, and cannot know or respond to the Holy Spirit’s warning, the only option is for God to send someone to warn them. If they reject that warning, there is no other option. One can fall back on whatever salvation doctrine or theory he or she wishes to believe, but the clear fact is that God has no purpose in warning anyone who is not in danger of eternal rejection

They are now at the point of the apostate ones that Isaiah warned.

That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the Lord;
Who say to the seers, ‘Do not see,’   And to the prophets, ‘Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.'” – Isaiah 30:9-10

Can you hear? Can you see? Will you be numbered with the transgressors? Or will you be with the redeemed and ransomed of the Lord on the Day when He comes for His people?

AWESOME WORD!! Deception has woven itself into every crevice of Christianity and is swallowing the undiscerning into it’s luring trap. The time is rapidly approaching when the warnings will cease!

This is not for the faint at heart, it’s for those who want the truth.

Yes, this resonates well. When I read Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel it is almost as if it were written for today and the church, God’s rebellious nation today. There comes a point where I leave a comment and don’t look back because the antagonism is so bad (such as after the last one on the last post, I just didn’t want to know). ( ; I already know because I’ve seen it time and again.

In Ezekiel, the glory of God departed from the Temple because of their abominations and worship of false ‘gods’. Their hidden sin caused the Lord to depart from them and His Spirit was removed. The prophets were sent to warn but mostly in vain. Then there was silence. Then the judgment fell, suddenly. By the time they knew their error and that these prophets were right, it was too late. The grace period was over. So it is again today.

They cling to their sin. They hiss at anyone who calls out ‘repent!’
They abandon the true God and instead delight in false gods, gods who are the making of their own imaginations, chiselled out by the chisel of their own minds after their own image, and they bow down and worship these instead. They hoard a gallery of false sooth sayers who will tell them “it’s okay” and whatever their ears lust to hear and when someone speaks the truth, they point to one of these idols and justify their error. They duck, close their eyes tightly, and cover their ears when anyone points out the truth of God’s Word to them.

What else is left but judgment for the House of God?

The Shack is being used as a platform for the one world religion in the church under antichrist. Most of what we see shows that the stage has already been set, the characters role’s filled, it is almost midnight. Pray that you are not deceived.

Thanks again for the timely message Cedric.
    God bless you.

      Amen!

This short message was written by me in in 2013 as a tract. I have this on my person at most all times so that if anyone asks me what the Luke 14 Project is, I can give them a short message that God has put on my heart. I am usually found wearing a hat, polo shirt , or jacket that says “the Luke 14 Project”. I thought it would be appropriate to include “One Man’s Compulsion” on my blog. Thanks for reading!!
    One Man’s Compulsion
This message is an urgent call to Christians. It is a plea to those who have lost touch with God. There are many ways this happens. Throughout the message, I will be mentioning these ways, with Scripture to confirm what I tell you. My hope and prayer is that God’s Holy Spirit will use what I say to get your attention so that you can make it right with God through Jesus Christ before it is eternally too late. May God bless the preaching and listening and grant you the “ears” to hear what His Spirit says to you this day.

My name is Ken Hall. I am a preacher and Bible teacher. I live in North Carolina (Indiana, now) with my lovely wife Barb. The name of our ministry is Everlasting Covenant Gospel Missions. If you have a CD, there should also be a brochure enclosed that tells about the ministry. Our message is two-fold; to reach the unsaved with the message of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is our primary objective. At the same time, we are compelled to warn those Christians who are away from God, those who know they have had a salvation experience and because of the way things are in “the religious” world (I mean the churches) their love has grown cold. The Bible says in Matthew 24 verses 11, 12, 13 that (11) many false prophets shall arise and deceive many (12) and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold, (13) but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved! Folks, I do believe that is what has occurred with many of you today. You have been in churches that were filled with false teaching. Anyone who comes in the name of the Lord and does not teach the Bible in all it’s fullness is “full of iniquity, religious sin. Many people think of iniquity as just regular old sin of the common variety; lying, stealing, cheating, sexual sin, etc., but iniquity cuts ever deeper into God’s heart because He knows this will scatter His sheep. And these wolves will pay the ultimate price for not feeding the sheep and scattering them. But that is what is in store for the false teachers. I am not preaching to them. I am on a “sheep hunt” for the Lord; to warn those wayward sheep and bring them back to the fold. That’s my commission from the Lord. Ezekiel 3:17-21 states, Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel ( in my case, Christendom-church people ); therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

That is my compulsion (from the Greek word anagkazo – meaning forced to, made to); to show you that you are in “dangerous territory” and “show you the “way out”. You are behind the “enemy’s” lines and need to be led out of captivity. I hope I am resonating with you. God, the Holy Spirit takes the Truth of His Word and uses guys like me to tell people their dilemma, and shake them up a little, so that He can draw them back into the fold. I am not being “mean”! It has been said that the “truth hurts”. You know, that is Biblical. Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, it is quick and powerful, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow (blood, the life force) and is a discerner of the thoughts and intent of the heart! Wow, that is quite a thought. God’s Word, properly conveyed, will “lay open” men’s souls, and show them clearly where they are either “right or wrong”. It will reveal the “intent” of your heart; that means something you have not done yet, but maybe are “toying” with the idea of it. A temptation that you have not totally yielded to, but it stays on your mind. Lust is a good example, especially sexual lust. We live in a world filled with sexual lust and debauchery. It is everywhere. From the neighbor’s wife mowing the grass in a bikini to the outright filth of internet porn. Hello! It is everywhere. The Bible says that if you look upon a woman (or man) to lust after them, you have committed adultery in your heart. How many of us have done that. I have. And it is a starting place to walk away from your God. It is. Temptation is out there and many of you have succumbed to it, in one way or another. Your love has waxed cold because you were, either never taught how a true Christian should live, or you have known the way of truth and turned from it. You are in danger either way and here, is why. God expects us and continually warns us in His Word to: #1 – know His word for ourselves; #2 – to live by the precepts and commands of Scripture. If we fall down and sin, we should get up, talk to God, acknowledge our sin, and turn from it and He will forgive us. Don’t hold on to sin. It hardens you. It puts calluses on your heart. I have the callus remover in my hand. It is the Bible. God’s Holy Word. Will you obey it? Will you continue to listen to me “rant and rave”? Or are you going to tune me “out” and hold on to whatever is keeping you out of fellowship with God? It is your choice, I can’t force you and God won’t force you. You can gain the world and “lose” your soul. You ask me, “Did you say you can lose your salvation?” I said soul! Remember this, the “last days”, are a “special time” in God’s eyes! Religious deception is the trademark of the “last days”. Things are “possible” because God himself sends “strong delusion”. I am going to read you a series of passages from the Bible and let you decide whether you think “salvation can be forfeited” but before I do I am going to make a statement. If you have been “born again” to a lively “hope” that means you have been made a “partaker” with God. He has given you His Spirit to guide you,, to help you understand His Word, to “prick you” when you sin, to pray for you when you can’t utter the words in time of deep despair, to help you discern truth from error. God gives His Spirit to be our “helper”. That is the truth. When we sin, we grieve the Spirit. We quench the Spirit by neglecting the Word and its commands. We can and do start living a “sinful lifestyle”. God gives us many warnings and “chastens” us, to train us in righteousness. Neglect of God’s word brings “stagnation”; “stinking, rotting, bad smelling” putrefaction of the soul! Gangrene of the Christian life. We rot, then mummify. Sin brings forth “death” when it is conceived. James 1:15. So what do we do; DO NOT “BIRTH” SIN. If you sin, confess, repent, “run from it” and be restored.

Otherwise sin that is allowed to run it’s “full course” brings “death” to our soul. It hardens and calluses; it causes bunions, scar tissue! Is there hope? Yes, but drastic surgery is required when we are “hardened by sin”. Revelation 2:5 states “Remember therefore from whence (where) thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works, OR I will come unto thee quickly and will remove your candlestick out of his (it’s) place, except thou repent! God put this in His word for a reason, to warn us, and tell us “how to get back” to Him! The messages to the seven churches are God’s final warnings to “church people (Christians included). The message is; “be thou faithful to death! repent! overcome! hold fast that which thou hast!”. To the last church people, Laodicea, who are blind, naked, and in poverty, although they think they are rich He says He will vomit them out of His mouth, except they repent! Does that sound like Heaven and salvation to you? It doesn’t to me at all! But there is still hope. Revelation 3:19-22 states, as many as I love I REBUKE and chasten; be zealous therefore, and REPENT and behold, I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock. If any man HEAR my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him and he with me. To him that overcometh (stays faithful to the end/death) will I grant to sit with me in my throne (Heaven) even as I also overcame, and am sit down with my Father in His throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches (church people). This means to listen and understand what He just said. He means business! Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8. I am the Lord, I change not. Malachi 3:6. Romans 11:29 says “for the gifts and callings of God are without repentance”. God says in His Word what he means and He means what He says. Jesus states in Matthew 16:25, 26, For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

      Amen Ken!

      No arguments here.
I have been called to the same ministry of warnings.
Few, if any listen. They have covered their own eyes over with the veils of false teaching that soothe their pricked consciences and assauge their guilt. They blind themselves with false security blankets and are not willing to relinquish them. Their feet have been trapped in solidified concrete. I just can’t bear the sight anymore.
God bless you for your ministry!

Amen to that brother. Before I became a Christian, I was into New Age mysticism for a brief period. Then once I became a believer, I briefly fell for the contemplative prayer trap. Now, however, the Lord has pulled me out of that. I believe that the Lord used Lighthouse Trails to help me understand what contemplative prayer really is and to warn me against it. I hope to see you in heaven.
